Speech Academy Asia’s DSA interview preparation course helps Primary 5 and 6 students prepare for Direct School Admission (DSA-Sec) interviews. Students practise 81 commonly asked DSA questions across five categories, and build the body language, voice and confidence to answer them genuinely. Classes run 4 lessons a month, 1.5 hours each, with personalised feedback from a trainer.

DSA-Sec lets students secure a secondary school place based on their talents before the PSLE results. Most schools shortlist through trials, auditions or interviews, and the interview is often where students stand out or fall short. What Is the Most Common DSA Interview Mistake?

- Practise out loud once a week, using real examples from your child’s life
- Work on body language: sit upright, keep eye contact and speak clearly

When should my child start DSA interview preparation?
Ideally in Primary 5, or at least a few months before DSA-Sec applications open in May. This gives time to build confidence and practise all question categories.
