On Friday, 24 April 2026, families, students, trainers, and distinguished guests gathered at the JEM Office Tower Auditorium for Speech Academy Asia’s annual Appreciation Award Ceremony 2026, a meaningful occasion dedicated to recognising the remarkable growth of our students and the unwavering support of the families and educators behind them.

Filled with celebration, gratitude, and heartfelt moments, the event continues to be one of the most memorable highlights of the Speech Academy Asia calendar. It was an evening that brought together the entire community to celebrate courage, perseverance, and the transformative power of communication.

Celebrating Every Stage of Growth

At Speech Academy Asia, every child’s journey is unique. Some begin as quiet preschoolers learning to express themselves with confidence, while others grow into poised speakers capable of communicating with clarity and leadership.

This year, students across all levels including Preschool, Junior, Intermediate, and Advanced proudly took to the stage to receive their awards and certificates in front of their families, mentors, and peers.

Each presentation symbolised more than achievement alone. It represented months of practice, resilience, and personal breakthrough.

For many parents, it was an emotional moment witnessing how far their children had come, from hesitant first introductions to confidently stepping forward to be recognised on stage.

Honoured by Distinguished Guests

We were privileged to welcome two distinguished Guests of Honour whose presence added significance to the celebration.

Mr David Hoe, Member of Parliament for Jurong East–Bukit Batok GRC, joined us in recognising the accomplishments of our young speakers and the importance of nurturing confident communicators within the community.

We were also honoured to welcome Dr Faisal Aman, Programme Director at SMU-ExD Executive Development, who shared the lifelong value of communication mastery and its role in leadership, education, and personal development.

Their encouragement served as an inspiring reminder that communication is a skill that extends far beyond the classroom and continues to shape opportunities throughout life.

A Celebration Beyond Awards

The Appreciation Award Ceremony is more than a presentation of certificates. It is a celebration of every challenge overcome and every small victory achieved along the way.

Throughout the ceremony, proud smiles filled the room as students walked across the stage to receive recognition for their hard work and dedication. Parents captured precious memories while teachers and trainers looked on with immense pride.
