Speech Academy Asia, in collaboration with WriteHaus Asia, proudly presents a comprehensive creative writing program designed for young learners aged 6 to 16. This unique initiative addresses the growing demand for a specialized writing course, complementing our acclaimed public speaking training. By merging the expertise of both institutions, we offer a robust curriculum that nurtures creativity, fosters confidence, and hones linguistic skills.
Course Highlights
Innovative Curriculum: Developed by experts in education and creative writing, our curriculum emphasizes imaginative thinking, storytelling techniques, and effective writing strategies. Students will explore various writing genres, including fiction, poetry, and non-fiction.
Experienced Instructors:
The program is spearheaded by Ms. Durga Poonambalam from WriteHaus Asia, a celebrated author of Fandi: Honour and Sacrifice, who brings extensive experience and passion for empowering young writers.
Project-Based Learning: The 12-month course culminates in a special project where students will compile their own book. This project encourages students to bring their creative ideas to life, providing a sense of achievement and a tangible output of their efforts.
Interactive Workshops: The program features interactive workshops and presentations, allowing students to engage with peers, share their work, and receive constructive feedback. These sessions foster a collaborative learning environment and enhance public speaking skills.
Soft Launch: The program will be introduced during the September holiday at Speech Academy Asia’s headquarters in JEM. This launch event will include workshops and presentations for students and parents, offering a sneak peek into the exciting journey ahead.
